I recently completed a sculptural memorial to Jordan, that I respectfully would like to share here with people who love him. In Eugene, there is an annual art show based on the Mexican "Dia de los Muertos" holiday. I decided to make an altar to Jordan, and after I'd started, I saw the photo here of his tattoo with the skull with flower-eyes, which is a traditional symbol from that holiday. I had never seen it before, so it was a powerful connection and affirmation that I was doing something he'd approve of. Here is the piece:http://judturner.com/new_work_gal/new_gal37.htmlAnd here is an explanation of the symbols used:http://judturner.com/new_work_gal/new_gal37_info.htmlI hope this sculpture gives the viewer pleasant memories of Jordy, as it did for me when I was making it.
